A few years ago I started home educating my son. It wasn't something that was ever on my radar but he is autistic and school just wasn't working for him. I was given an ultimatum by the headteacher so had to follow my gut and make my decision quickly. I muddled through and found my feet but I will put my experiences, things I found helpful and any resources I created here to hopefully help someone else who may be embarking on the journey to home education.

My daughter is not home educated, she attends main stream school. Nothing I have learnt has lead me to believe one type of education is better than the other. What I can say categorically is there is no 'one size fits all' approach
